HOT TAMALE TIME! Saturday, January 16, 4pm

Come learn how to make Mexican tamales (a dish with meat or vegetable filling, coated with a corn-based dough, steamed inside of corn husks). We will make meat-filled, vegetarian, and dessert tamales and then enjoy them for dinner, along with typical Mexican (non-alcoholic) drinks and appetizers. Feel free to bring your little cooks along!

Family Photo Beach Party Festivity

It was a lovely May evening at a perfectly festive beach home setting--guests were pampered with margaritas and a bounty of delicious food. After taking family photos in the dunes, the party moved to the beach where kids of all ages frolicked in the surf. A huge thank you to Jill & Bo Webb and Angie & David Oakley for hosting the Family Photo Beach Party last Saturday. And to the Sutherland, Peterson, Peens, Lacer-Morris and Klein families who attended. We appreciate your SOFE support!

Cheers to Beer Brewing 101!

What better way to spend a Sunday afternoon than brewing (and sipping) fresh beer? Thanks to master brewer Ben Hudson and hops-loving sidekick Steve Klein for hosting the event. A Magnificent Sunset Cocktail Cruise

A big thanks to Amy MacKay and Will Cocke for hosting the Sunset Cocktail Cruise. Cruisers Jill & Bo Webb, Dana Sachs & Todd Berliner and Liza & Tim Palmer enjoyed great company and VIP treatment while admiring the intercoastal landscape and sunset.

A huge thanks to lovely, gracious hostesses Angelika and Vanessa Lacer. The setting could not have been more ambient--melodic Indian music soothed the senses, rose petals and incense massaged the nostrils and tables laden with goodies temped the belly. And the Mehndi--oh, my! See for yourself...
